Here are some pictures of flowers I took at the zoo on May 16. 

Butterflies

These were taken May 16th as well, after we left the zoo. 

These rarely land with their wings open. They are black/grey on the outside (when wings are shut) and blue on the inside.

Here are some pictures I took from the trip to the Zoo on May 16. This day marked the six month anniversary of my Dad's passing so my Mom and I spent the day together. It was supposed to rain but the rain held off, it was such a beautiful day!

OK, so I'm completely new to this so we'll see what happens. :)

I love taking pictures of pretty much anything! I'm an amateur photographer so I don't do shoots or anything like that, I just do this for fun.

I would appreciate any comments you'd like to share and I'm completely open to constructive criticism. Let me know what you think so I can work on becoming better.
