Yep, I did it again. I got the girls costumes and dressed them up. They love it! Ha. Here is Summer as the Pumkin (which was her name when we adopted her) and Sienna as the adorable Turtle. As you can see, her costume was a little large and Summer's was a little small. Sweet girls. : )

Savannah, GA
Well, it's been a long time since I've posted on here! In October, my Mom, Aunt Susie and I went to GA to visit with my Aunt Judi and spent a couple of days in Savannah. What a pretty city! It was a wonderful trip that was much needed. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Sienna, our new addition
Well, we did it. : ) We adopted another little girl... the furry four-legged kind of course. I finally talked Sean in to it, reluctantly, and he ended up naming her the first time he saw her picture. She was with a foster who brought her to our home on Friday. Summer and (then) Roxie got along instantly! It was so sweet seeing them together, and continues to be. You always wonder what people have gone through, and animals are the same, especially when they bear scars, which she has a few. She even came to us with a piece out of her ear from one of the other dogs at the foster home. Poor girl. She is super snuggly and very loving. In fact, when you get close, you will get kissed!
Seriously, look at this face? She looks so sad. I love her underbite, though! It gives her a little bottom lip.
Going for a ride!!
Keeping watch!
And the best treat ever, Sonic tatter tots! : )

Announing... our new addition... Summer
Well, we have a new baby girl in our family! And as Sean and I go, it's of course a furry baby. We had to put our boy, Starsky, asleep in August 2010 and we were without a dog for a couple months. It was nice in ways but for those of you that have pets, you know what they bring. So, we went on the hunt for our new addition. I saw this cutie online named Pumpkin and her two sisters, Cranberry and Biscuit. We had looked at a few dogs at the shelters, but none had really stuck out. We took each girl outside and played and I loved Pumpkin! She was the one I liked online and just got a feeling that she was supposed to come home with us. Plus when I got down on the ground with her, she gave me doggy kisses. Yeah, that helped. Anywho, we adopted her that day but couldn't bring her home because she wasn't spayed yet.
The shelter told us she was about 7 months old, but when we picked her up four days later at the vet, I asked the vet and she said she was about a year and a half old. We brought her home, renamed her Summer and she's become a great part of the family.
She's been so good from the start and has learned very well. She was very scared of car rides and going on walks, but she's getting much better at those, too. We are loving our new little girl. : )
Here are pictures I took with my phone of her after we filled out the adoption papers.
She LOVES the snow!
Yes, she has settled in just nicely!
