And my favorite building of all... The Indy Star! : ) A lot of memories were formed in that building and I remember sitting in the window will of one of those windows looking out on Pennsylvania and the park across the street.

Indy Photos
So I had to make a run to the Apple store at Keystone at the Crossing so on my way back home I decided to stop downtown and take some pictures. The sun was shining bright, so I kind of messed with the sun flares. Had a great time, walked around downtown just me and my camera. : )

Florida Tip
My Grandparents have a home in Florida and go down for a while in the winter months. Last year my Mom drove them down, stayed a week and then spent a relaxing couple days driving back by herself. This year, she decided to drive them down again, and asked me to go with them. Ummm, ok! : ) Who's going to pass that up? It was really a nice trip! I love my Mom and Grandparents and it was nice to get away for a bit and see some sun! So, we got in the car, left the snow behind and headed down south. It was so relaxing! We didn't do a lot, which was fine by me. Here are some pictures I took while we were gone.
The first peek at water!
What's that on my skin? SUN
Ahhhh, don't see this at home!
Beach in Grandparent's neighborhood.
I have never seen a tree like this. It was called a cotton... something... tree, but they looked like Lilies

Beautiful sunsets over the water!

My three roomies for the week! Granpa, Mom and Granma

Announing... our new addition... Summer
Well, we have a new baby girl in our family! And as Sean and I go, it's of course a furry baby. We had to put our boy, Starsky, asleep in August 2010 and we were without a dog for a couple months. It was nice in ways but for those of you that have pets, you know what they bring. So, we went on the hunt for our new addition. I saw this cutie online named Pumpkin and her two sisters, Cranberry and Biscuit. We had looked at a few dogs at the shelters, but none had really stuck out. We took each girl outside and played and I loved Pumpkin! She was the one I liked online and just got a feeling that she was supposed to come home with us. Plus when I got down on the ground with her, she gave me doggy kisses. Yeah, that helped. Anywho, we adopted her that day but couldn't bring her home because she wasn't spayed yet.
The shelter told us she was about 7 months old, but when we picked her up four days later at the vet, I asked the vet and she said she was about a year and a half old. We brought her home, renamed her Summer and she's become a great part of the family.
She's been so good from the start and has learned very well. She was very scared of car rides and going on walks, but she's getting much better at those, too. We are loving our new little girl. : )
Here are pictures I took with my phone of her after we filled out the adoption papers.
She LOVES the snow!
Yes, she has settled in just nicely!
