Storm 6/19/2010

Here are pictures from the storm we're having. It started last night and keeps on going. Here are some lightning pics.

Storms 6/15/10

Here are pictures from the storm on June 15th.

The yellow/orange sky came back after this storm as well. What a beautiful sky!

If you look at the picture above, you'll see the heron sitting on the rooftop to the right. Here is a closer view of him. 

Here is one of the ducks swimming in the pond in the rain and with the reflection of the orange sky in the water.

There was a rainbow after the rain stopped for a minute, but the sky was still real grey.

Here is what it looked like after the orange sky went away right before sunset. 

Storms 6/14/10

We had some bad storms blow through here for a few nights in a row. Fortunately they didn't produce a tornado or do too much damage. They were neat to watch, though.

This is after the storm. The sky turned this yellow/orange color. It was still raining outside when I took this, as you can tell.

Brown County

My husband and I celebrate June 13th as our anniversary normally instead of our actual wedding anniversary. We started dating on June 13, 1996 but we didn't get married until December of 1999. There's not a whole lot of things to do in December in Indiana, thus the reason we normally do something in June. This year we went to Brown County and had a really nice time! Here are some pics from our mini vacation. :)

We had a patio outside our hotel and since most of the night it rained, we sat outside for a while enjoying it. It was raining so hard the water was spilling over the gutter.

The next day we went in to Brown County State Park and had a great time.

Flowers

Here are some pictures I have taken of flowers in the last week or so.

This one is looking up the tree that had the white flowers on it. The tree was probably about 25'-30' tall and full of beautiful white flowers.

On the following pictures I was just messing around with my camera. I thought these came out pretty neat.
