Slice of Life

This is the picture I've chosen for the I Heart Faces Slice of Life photo challenge this week. This is a picture I took of a good friend and her daughter while we were at her in-laws. I had taken pictures of them that day and then just kind of hung in the background to get some pictures that weren't posed. I love this picture of them!

Some past Fix It Fridays

I hadn't done too well at keeping up with the FIF photos, and today there doesn't seem to be one, so I thought I would go through some old ones and edit them just for the heck of it.

Indy Photos

So I had to make a run to the Apple store at Keystone at the Crossing so on my way back home I decided to stop downtown and take some pictures. The sun was shining bright, so I kind of messed with the sun flares. Had a great time, walked around downtown just me and my camera. : )

And my favorite building of all... The Indy Star! : ) A lot of memories were formed in that building and I remember sitting in the window will of one of those windows looking out on Pennsylvania and the park across the street.

Florida Tip

My Grandparents have a home in Florida and go down for a while in the winter months. Last year my Mom drove them down, stayed a week and then spent a relaxing couple days driving back by herself. This year, she decided to drive them down again, and asked me to go with them. Ummm, ok! : ) Who's going to pass that up? It was really a nice trip! I love my Mom and Grandparents and it was nice to get away for a bit and see some sun! So, we got in the car, left the snow behind and headed down south. It was so relaxing! We didn't do a lot, which was fine by me. Here are some pictures I took while we were gone.

The first peek at water!

What's that on my skin? SUN

Ahhhh, don't see this at home!

Beach in Grandparent's neighborhood.

I have never seen a tree like this. It was called a cotton... something... tree, but they looked like Lilies

Beautiful sunsets over the water!

My three roomies for the week! Granpa, Mom and Granma
